Structural strength with the flexibility of a urethane adhesive 3M Scotch-Weld Flexible Acrylic Adhesive DP8625NS is a structural strength adhesive that cures quickly and requires minimal surface preparation. It is an acrylic adhesive that offers high flexibility and elongation comparable to urethanes or sealants. This black, non-flowing and low-odour 2-component acrylic adhesive enables the use of thin panels as it provides a virtually invisible bond line and shrinks only slightly during curing. It is characterised by a 400 % higher elongation capacity and is resistant to stresses that occur with materials with different thermal expansion coefficients. This adhesive requires minimal surface preparation and is not classified as a health hazard under GHS08. It contains 250 μm glass beads for adjusting the bond line thickness. This adhesive has a working time of 23 minutes and reaches handling strength after 28 minutes. It ensures bonding with minimal surface preparation, even on slightly oily surfaces.
