Flexible 80A Resin The Formlabs family of Flexible and Elastic resins is a new line of soft engineering materials with varying Shore hardness. With Flexible 80A Resin, you replace outsourcing and molding of silicone, urethane and rubber parts with in-house production of flexible parts that takes just a few hours. Flexible 80A Resin is a reformulation of Flexible Resin (V2). This reformulation shines with higher tear strength, tensile strength as well as elongation and easily withstands repeated use without cracking. With its Shore hardness of 80A, it simulates the pliability of rubber or TPU. Flexible 80A Resin offers a balance of softness and toughness and can also withstand repeated bending, stretching and compression. The "80A" in the product name corresponds to the Shore hardness of the material. Notes on Formlabs Flexible 80A Resin The resin is compatible with the Form 3, Form 3B, as well as the Form 2. 50 and 100 micron print resolutions are used. Post-curing is required. Flexible 80A is compatible with any Form 3B or Form 3 resin tank. The Formlabs Form 2 requires the LT resin tank. Applications for Formlabs Flexible 80A The Formlabs Flexible 80A resin is suitable for gaskets, masks and shock absorbers, but also for various anatomy models and grips.
